This wedding took place in the renowned St. Regis Resort in Monarch beach. The location alone is gorgeous, but Angelica wanted to put her personal touch to every inch that surrounded her, from the aisle she walked on to the flute she was going to be toasting with, and when it came to the florals, she entrusted her vision to us in the early stages of her planning. I have to say that I was flattered when I found out that she had retained our services even before securing her wedding location. She had a clear idea of what she wanted and she challenged every inch of my brain cells to make it happen, from preparation all the way to execution.
On this event we had the pleasure to work with some of the best wedding vendors we have come across, such as Thomas Buckley from Buckley Videography, Monique Atwell from A Signature Wedding and we also had the honor of having Emma from emma jane photography shadowing us along the way.
There are some details from this wedding that I am going to owe you all, simply because Emma was following our crew and I requested for her to only shoot the ceremony and reception for us (I didn’t want Angelica’s photographer to feel uncomfortable by having someone else shooting her bride). Once I get the pictures from the photographer, I will share the other details, such as Angelica’s Bridal Bouquet, the Bridesmaids bouquets, boutonnieres, etc. For now, I just wanted to give you a “SNEAK PEEK” to what we were doing this past weekend.
In order to visualize the magnitude of the ceremony decor, the structure in the Grand Lawn is 30 feet wide and 16 feet high. A regular size transit bus is 30 feet long and 9 1/2 feet tall. In other words, as long as a bus but 60% taller.
This structure had a curtain made out of two different types of strands. One made out of Hand Blown glass bubbles and the other made out of cymbidium Orchids and krystals. These strands were only 1o inches apart from each other, all the way across. Flanking the area where Angelica and Everto were exchanging their vows, were 2 large floral arrangements with a core of white Hydrangeas, white Lisanthius and Ivory roses, completely covered in white Phalenopsis Orchids. Right above them were hanging 14 inch Pomanders made out of white Lisanthius.

On the sides of the aisle, we had white wood pedestals with lush florals in white and Ivory flowers. These arrangements consisted of White Hydrangeas, Ivory roses, white Lisanthius and White Phalenopsis Orchids. Down the center of the aisle, a lush scroll pattern of Dark Lavender petals was created.

The Registration table was decorated with 4 vases. The one in the center contained 10 feet white Manzanita branches, the other 3 vases each one displayed a difernt flower/element. One had White Phalenopsis cascading towards the front, the other one had White Hawaiian Dendrobium Orchids and the last one had a 12″ Pomander made out of White Buttons.

For the centerpieces, she had two different designs. One was a White Manzanita branch with a pillow of White buttons at the bottom with a single Phalenopsis Orchid laying on top. Bubble glass candle holder hung from the branch as well as Krystal drops. 3 Pomanders made entirely out of White Dendrobium Orchids rested on the branches at different levels. To that, we added several stems of White Dendrobium orchids directly onto the branches.

The Other set of arrangements consisted of a 28 inch glass vase filled with water and a strand of White Cymbidium Orchids floating in the middle. Topping this glass, there was a large Pomander made out of Hydrangeas and roses with lots of White Phalenopsis Orchids cascading towards the bottom. Each Centerpiece had 3 sets of tealight glass holders in different heights.

The cake was simple and elegant. with a very nice design on it, we just added some purple heart Phalenopsis Orchids cascading towards the bottom. A heavy bed of petals surrounded the cake and several sets of the same tealight glass holders.

The sweetheart table stud in the center of the room, right across from the cake table with the large white dance floor in the middle. surrounding the sweetheart table, a cabana covered in White Satin and Off white chiffon with lots of flowers in front of the table and some 12 inch Pomanders made out of white Lisanthius hung from the structure. Directly behind the Cabana, a wall made out of Plexi glass mirrors was placed, which gave a really nice effect to the area.

I have to admit, it was a lot of work, a lot of preparation and a lot of added stress when the location limited our time for setup. Never the less, it was breathtaking and the biggest reward I received was a Text Message from Angelica the day after that read:
I want to thank you again for Perfection… My pictures will forever freeze in time how beautiful everything turned out.
Angie, it was a pleasure working with you and I want to thank you for giving us the opportunity of being a part of your wedding. I’ll see you in the fields smelling the flowers!
